MEET YOUR DOULA

As a mom of 4, ages ranging from newborn to 8 years old. Helping others is my passion.

Welcome, I’m J’Ann. I have loved birth since a child when I was able to witness my cousin be born at a young age. I had my first three children in the hospital, and my last was born at home with an amazing team that inspired me to step out of my childcare business, into the birth world.

  • A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional and physical support to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth.

  • I am currently receiving certification in a becoming a doula, as well as receiving certification as a Certified Lactation Counselor and Postpartum Doula through Childbirth International. My additional certifications include Spinning Babies Certified (8/23), NRP Certified (8/23), Certified in TENS through 100percent Doula, and Certified Bengkung Belly Binding.

  • Absolutely! My stand alone doula service includes 2 prenatal visits, and 2 postpartum visits. Head on over to my services page for more information.

  • Yes! As mamas, and women know our bodies, and we were made to do this. I want to help reduce the stigma around home births being dangerous, and a crazy option and normalize birth. Birth is a natural thing that our bodies are made for. With that being said, I support birth in all settings.
