PRENATAL VISITS
Our comprehensive service focuses on educating families about the diverse options available for childbirth, both within hospitals and outside of them. We also provide valuable insights into comforting measures to enhance the birthing experience. Our goal is to empower not only moms but also dads, ensuring their active involvement throughout the entire pregnancy journey. With a strong emphasis on support, we strive to create an environment where both parents feel well-informed and encouraged as they navigate this special time together.
BIRTH SUPPORT
This service offers round-the-clock availability, starting from 37 weeks of pregnancy, to attend and support parents during childbirth. We ensure that prior to the birth, we discuss and understand their preferences, which we then integrate into a personalized birth plan. Throughout the birthing process, we stand by as advocates, reminding and empowering mom to adhere to her wishes. Our role also involves providing ongoing education as required and offering a range of comforting measures, including counter support and relaxation techniques, to ensure a positive and comfortable birthing experience.
POSTPARTUM SUPPORT
Postpartum support extends for 6 weeks postpartum, and I am readily available through text or call during this time. Postpartum support includes two in-home postpartum visits. To ease the transition, we provide two freezer meals and a curated Postpartum care kit is prepared exclusively for the well-being of mom. During my visits, I am here to assist with light housekeeping and cater to any additional requirements that mom may have. My primary focus is to provide unwavering support for both mama and baby throughout this special time.
BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY
Birth Photography is a special way to remember this big day. I offer birth photography as an add onto doula services. Recalling my births, my first two I didn’t have any photography and I look back and that is a huge regret of mine. Having a photographer at the birth of my last two children has helped me process their birth. With the birth of my youngest I had purchased a poloroid for my mother to use, however in the process my 8 year old grabbed ahold of it, and was the “photographer” those are my favorite photos. I will bring this camera to all births, and if the family has a child who is able and wants to be present, I will always let the child use that camera. Seeing birth through the eyes of your child, adds another level of special sentiment.
